The 2024 renewed release of LX Hausys's residential tile flooring, the 'LX Z:IN Flooring House' series, is receiving a strong response from consumers.
Unlike sheet flooring, which is installed in roll form, tile flooring is a product installed by joining individual square tiles together. It has mainly been used in commercial spaces such as hotels and resorts, but as more consumers want to decorate their homes like hotels, demand has been gradually increasing. Comprising 'House' and 'House Style,' the 'House' series has been consistently loved since its launch in 2018 for its high thermal conductivity—specialized for Korea's radiant-floor-heating residential environment—and its reasonable price point. In the renewed 'House' series, LX Hausys's in-house-developed matte-finish technology has been newly applied to the surface layer, reducing the glossy sheen characteristic of conventional tile flooring and maximizing a premium design with an appearance resembling actual natural materials such as wood and marble.
In addition, the 'House' series achieves high thermal conductivity optimized for Korea's residential environment, with a thermal conductivity roughly twice that of the company's own engineered wood flooring, and it minimizes deformation caused by changes in floor temperature through a dedicated, in-house-developed adhesive. Furthermore, by reducing the content and emission of hazardous substances, it has obtained FloorScore, the U.S. indoor air quality certification standard. In the case of 'House Style,' installation over an existing wood floor without removing it is also possible, further enhancing convenience.
An LX Hausys official said, "As interest in tile flooring has recently grown in Korea's flooring market—where sheet and wood flooring are dominant—the House series is proving highly popular among customers preparing for autumn remodeling this year."
Meanwhile, LX Hausys also unveiled a renewed version of 'Econo Plus,' its tile flooring for commercial spaces. As a product for commercial spaces such as hotels and resorts, 'Econo Plus' features a high-strength, scratch-resistant surface coating for enhanced durability, and it comprises around 100 varied design patterns including stone, carpet, and wood. 080-005-4000
