Eco-friendly wallpaper company KSW Co., Ltd. has newly launched its natural wallpaper collection ‘2024 Namu Plus’ in time for the spring season.
‘Namu Plus’ is a biodegradable, eco-friendly natural wallpaper that, instead of the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) used in silk wallpaper, uses 100% naturally sourced materials such as pine, hinoki (Japanese cypress), and mica to enhance deodorizing performance and create true-to-nature colors. As a result, it is not only harmless to the human body but also creates a healthy indoor environment by providing humidity control, condensation prevention, and mold prevention. KSW’s 2024 natural wallpaper collection, Namu Plus, reinforces its premium line under the concept of ‘urban rest (indoor forest),’ using coarse hinoki chips rich in phytoncide. The collection also comprises 43 products that complete a healthy space through calm, nature-inspired colors and varied wood chips. Reflecting the latest trends, the 2024 ‘Namu Plus’ collection applies a variety of surface textures such as paint, plaster, and fabric, along with natural colors, to propose a clean yet modern mood. Moreover, as an eco-friendly wallpaper made with natural wood powder unlike ordinary wallpaper, it is characterized by a thick surface texture and trendy colors.
The 2024 ‘Namu Plus’ collection has been released in three types based on wood species and surface texture: ‘Premium Hinoki Wallpaper,’ ‘Hinoki Wallpaper,’ and ‘Pine Wallpaper.’ ▲ Offering powerful antibacterial performance and air-purifying function, ‘Premium Hinoki Wallpaper’ is made from phytoncide-rich hinoki to provide rest for both body and mind. In particular, it uses only coarse hinoki chips of 20 mesh or larger to express a distinctive thickness and realistic texture, giving a rich sense of depth; it is a premium natural wallpaper with a hard surface that is strong against everyday scratches and pet scratches. It also combines a firm surface texture, rich thickness, and popular neutral colors, enhancing both aesthetics and ease of installation. ▲ ‘Hinoki Wallpaper,’ with its lively wood texture, coarsely grinds hinoki particles to reproduce a bumpy, natural wood texture. In particular, along with the thickness of the wallpaper, the forest-bathing effect of hinoki phytoncide lets you create your own healing space. As a safe product recommended by the Korea Atopy Association, it can be used with confidence even in homes with children, and the wallpaper’s humidity-control function maintains a comfortable humidity level, helping with atopy and respiratory conditions. ▲ ‘Pine Wallpaper,’ made from delicate pine with a paint-like texture, finely grinds pine particles to create a smooth, paint-like finish. Its paint texture and colors, which emphasize a clean yet warm feel, allow for minimalist interiors, and it is characterized by a fine, sand-like embossed texture.
