SR Tech (CEO Park Sang-jun), a company specializing in smart lighting and IoT (Internet of Things), has launched a "Smart LED Lighting Control System" for small and mid-sized manufacturing plants.
The system is based on "SmartThings," the IoT platform with the largest user base in Korea. Its key feature is the ability to combine sensors across multiple plants and other facilities to prevent fires and save energy. Beyond lighting control, it is also equipped with functions such as ▲CCTV ▲heating and cooling control ▲power control ▲load management. In addition, the "Smart LED Lighting Control System" delivers energy savings of approximately 50–70% or more compared to conventional fluorescent lighting. For example, if 50 standard flat-panel lights consume 1,285 kWh per month, replacing them with smart lighting lowers monthly power consumption to 411 kWh—a reduction of 68%. With this smart LED (light-emitting diode) lighting control system, SR Tech has also obtained the "High-Efficiency E (Energy) Equipment Certification."
Park Sang-jun, CEO of SR Tech, said, "SR Tech is one of only a handful of domestic lighting companies to have received the High-Efficiency E Equipment Certification from the Korea Energy Agency," adding, "The ROI (return on investment) of our lighting control is about one year, demonstrating outstanding energy efficiency." He continued, "As the government is also providing low-carbon management support for small and mid-sized manufacturers through programs such as the 'Carbon Neutral Innovation Voucher,' we plan to continue our technological innovation to support the transition to a carbon-neutral industry." 052-951-5148
