'Marbon,' the natural marble flooring from Dongwha Enterprise (CEO Chae Kwang-byung), is drawing a strong response from consumers.
'Marbon' is a composite-structure flooring that combines natural marble with a CRC board. It retains the beautiful patterns and refined elegance characteristic of stone flooring while improving on the weight of conventional marble flooring. In particular, 'Marbon' offers greater water resistance than existing tile flooring, preventing deformation and discoloration caused by moisture, and its high thermal efficiency helps reduce energy consumption.
It is also fire-safe. 'Marbon' has earned Flame Retardancy Class 1, the highest grade among the flame-retardant performance standards for building finishing materials, preventing the spread of fire in the event of a blaze and minimizing the release of hazardous substances. It is also easy to install and maintain. Like wood flooring, it allows dry installation for same-day setup, and its modular installation eliminates concerns about height differences. Another advantage is that it has no grout lines, so the floor can be used without worry about contamination at the seams.
Dongwha Enterprise's natural marble flooring 'Marbon' is offered in a total of four patterns: ▲'Shell Beige,' quarried from the Tomorr mountain range in Albania, with layered patterns softly blended over a creamy beige-toned base; ▲'Pearl Cream,' a stone type unique to Lake Burdur in central Türkiye, featuring a bright, almost translucent cream color and soft patterning; ▲'Moon Grey,' a marble originating from the Hajar Mountains of the Arabian Peninsula, with a warm grey color reminiscent of the surface of the moon; and ▲'Mars Sand,' a marble from the southern region of Sulawesi Island in Indonesia, characterized by delicate and elegant wave patterns in a neutral color tone. Each pattern preserves the distinctive markings of its stone type, allowing customers to choose according to their taste, and the product comes in two sizes: ▲600 mm wide, 600 mm long, and 10.5 mm thick, and ▲400 mm wide, 800 mm long, and 10.5 mm thick.
