Featuring Synchronized Embossing and a Three-Dimensional 3D Design
KCC Glass (Chairman Jung Mong-ik) has launched 'Sup Hyugaon,' a premium flooring product that faithfully recreates the feel of natural materials for a luxurious look while delivering outstanding underfoot comfort and noise-reduction performance.
The name 'Sup Hyugaon' means 'the comfortable and warm flooring of our home,' capturing the idea of a healing floor that supports warm, relaxing rest. 'Sup Hyugaon' applies a synchronized embossing technique that precisely aligns the pattern with the surface embossing, along with a three-dimensional 3D design, to realistically reproduce the patterns and textures of marble, stone, and natural wood. Designed to the same dimensions as natural-material flooring such as solid wood and tile, it offers an even greater sense of realism. In addition, it comes in a total of 16 luxurious and varied design patterns—including imported marble from Italy and North Africa, stone such as volcanic rock and concrete, and wood patterns that reinterpret classic European styles in a modern way—broadening consumers' range of choices to suit their tastes.
'Sup Hyugaon' is available in two thicknesses, 5 mm (Sup Hyugaon 5.0) and 4.5 mm (Sup Hyugaon 4.5). Using a dual construction method that incorporates both a high-strength transparent layer and a highly elastic cushion layer, it offers excellent resistance to denting and scratching, is easy to clean, and provides superior impact absorption and noise reduction. In fact, in testing conducted by the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), Sup Hyugaon demonstrated approximately three times greater impact absorption than the company's own 1.8 mm-thick PVC flooring.
In addition, 'Sup Hyugaon' has earned the Korea Atopy Association Recommended Product mark and the highest grade of the eco-friendly HB mark, and testing by the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) confirmed that no harmful phthalates or heavy metals were detected.
