Bosch Power Tools Division (headed by Division Director Park Jin-hong) has launched the professional-grade BiTurbo cordless drill/driver 'GSR 18V-150C Professional' and the cordless impact drill/driver 'GSB 18V-150 Professional', which deliver top performance and control for a wide range of screwdriving and drilling tasks.
These two new products are equipped with a BiTurbo brushless motor delivering up to 150 Nm of torque and a rotational speed of 2,200 rpm, enabling fast work. BiTurbo technology is an innovation that combines Bosch's high-performance brushless motor with its premium ProCORE 18V battery technology. When used with the ProCORE 5.5 Ah battery, the new products deliver maximum output on par with corded tools.
This makes them well suited for screwdriving in wood and metal, roof repair and construction requiring large hole-saw work, timber-frame house repair, and general construction work. In addition, the GSB model can also perform impact drilling in marble.
In particular, the new products are the world's first to feature 'Electronic Angle Detection' for precise screwdriving. This function keeps long screws perpendicular, delivering accurate results even when screwdriving at an angle. Safety is also ensured by the 'Kickback Control' function, which can be switched on and off. Kickback Control prevents the tool from suddenly spinning if it becomes jammed in the material, protecting the operator's safety and preventing damage to the workpiece. Furthermore, an intelligent user interface (HMI) featuring Bosch's proprietary connectivity technology enables intuitive tool use, showing information such as the tool's heat status, Kickback Control status, and battery charge level. Users can create individually customized tool settings through three work modes: Auto mode, Soft work mode, and Favorites mode.
