Keyang Electric Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Han-su), a Haesung Group company specializing in the manufacture of power tools and automotive motors, has announced the launch of its 3D green laser level, the ‘KL-360GL.’
When fitted with an 18V 2.0Ah lithium-ion battery, the new product can be used continuously for more than about 10 hours with all lines illuminated. In addition, it is compatible with all of the company's 14.4V and 18V slide-type cordless-tool batteries, demonstrating an efficient power design.
The ‘KL-360GL’ adopts the laser diode technology of Germany's OSRAM, which is highly regarded for providing innovative and sustainable lighting solutions, allowing users to easily see a green laser that is six times brighter and clearer. OSRAM offers a wide range of products, from lighting, modules, LED lamps, and luminaires to lighting management systems.
It also offers the advantage of multi-directional measurement through laser line projection at various angles. The cordless laser level ‘KL-360GL’ is a cone-prism-type laser that projects 360 degrees evenly from a single light source. In addition to excellent usability, its configuration of one horizontal 360-degree line and two vertical 360-degree lines enables multi-directional measurement across a total of 12 directions and 6 intersection points. Another notable advantage is that the laser lines turn OFF when the unit is tilted beyond the 4-degree self-leveling range, making it easy to recognize.
A horizontal/vertical mode button is also applied, allowing only the lines needed for a given situation to be illuminated for efficient laser projection. A separately purchased laser receiver mode makes it easy to detect and check lines even outdoors, where laser lines are difficult to identify. Furthermore, an automatic laser module lock function activates when the power is turned off, minimizing malfunctions and enhancing the device's durability.
In addition, to further enhance user convenience, the cordless laser level ‘KL-360GL’ is provided with a magnetic bracket as well as a rotating base (sold separately) and a tripod (sold separately), so it can be mounted according to various environments.
