Released in 2020, the new 'Ver-Q' is an eco-friendly tile made by bonding metal and cork. With its ability to create hygienic living spaces and its easy installation method, it is drawing the attention not only of interior design firms but also of general consumers.
DSP's new 'Ver-Q' is a tile made by bonding 1.0T cork to 0.24T tin plate, combining the durability of metal with the eco-friendliness, light weight, and flexibility of cork. In addition, 'Ver-Q' is coated with a high-quality nano-ceramic coating (NCC) whose performance lasts more than 20 years, allowing users to feel the texture of the metal while also satisfying the colors, designs, and surface finishes demanded by modern architecture's aesthetic requirements—drawing the industry's attention. In particular, the nano-ceramic coating (NCC) is an antibacterial coating that prevents the growth of germs, bacteria, and mold, and it can express a variety of colors such as silver, gray, gold, bronze, and sky blue, enabling interiors to be styled to suit consumers' tastes.
Moreover, 'Ver-Q' has greater bending flexibility than typical metal tiles on the market, so it can also be used on curved surfaces that are difficult to cover with metal materials—another of its strengths. On top of this, its reasonable price point has increased consumer satisfaction.
The product is produced in tile forms of 10×10 cm, 10×20 cm, and 20×20 cm, and custom-made-to-order production is available within a size of 58×210 cm. For application, it can be attached using the dedicated Ver-Q double-sided tape sold alongside it, or by applying silicone to the back of the product before attaching.
