Kustem, a new lifestyle appliance brand with a vision of "connecting technology and emotion," has unveiled its "Style Vision" product through the crowdfunding platform Wadiz.

"Style Vision" is a new-concept display that allows users to select and change its design, and it is drawing attention as a display solution that offers a user experience unlike that of conventional TVs. Through the design innovation of "Style Vision," Kustem presents a new perspective on TV design. In particular, "Style Vision" focuses on delivering a design that blends into users' lives and spaces while maintaining premium picture and sound quality. According to the company, this design philosophy has the potential to completely transform the habitual notions of how TVs are used and the spatial constraints they impose.

Another strikingly novel feature is the ability to easily enjoy a new look simply by replacing the design frame whenever your space changes—such as when moving or redecorating. This is an experiential innovation capable of changing the ingrained assumption that once you buy a TV, you have to use it for nearly 10 years. In addition, the new product uses an LG Display 4K OLED panel, delivering a clear difference in picture quality compared to LCD products, and it applies front-facing sound technology in which a coil exciter attached behind the OLED panel vibrates the entire screen to produce sound.

Ahead of the brand's official launch in February 2024, Kustem first unveiled "Style Vision" through a special exhibition held at Space Wadiz starting December 5, giving consumers the opportunity to experience it firsthand. A brand representative said, "The Wadiz exhibition was an opportunity to begin communication between consumers and the brand and to widely promote the product's innovative features."

Kustem CEO Kim Jae-han said, "The evolution of TVs has now reached a point where it requires not vertical advancement centered on specs and functions, but horizontal expansion centered on users that reflects individual tastes." He added, "To sharply reflect the wide-ranging tastes of consumers, we need to discover diverse kinds of design frames and make them interchangeable with one another—and that is the brand direction Kustem will pursue going forward." He continued, "To this end, we plan to collaborate with brands from diverse cultures and to continuously work with talented external designers."
