Coway (co-CEOs Lee Hae-sun and Seo Jang-won) has launched its 'Kitchen Hood Care Service,' which professionally cleans and maintains kitchen hoods.

Keeping a kitchen hood clean requires maintaining not only the exterior of the hood but also its interior. However, the inside of the hood is hard to reach, and cleaning it requires disassembling the product, making it difficult for ordinary households to maintain—so it often goes neglected.

Coway newly launched its 'Kitchen Hood Care Service' to meet the demand for kitchen hood hygiene and to provide a pleasant kitchen environment. Coway's 'Kitchen Hood Care Service' is carried out in seven steps. A Home Care Doctor, a home-care maintenance specialist, visits and provides systematic service, including △inspecting the product's condition △disassembling the product △checking the level of contamination and applying cleaning agent △cleaning and drying the product △reassembling the product △sterilization and disinfection △finishing and tidying up. An eco-deodorizing mist service is additionally provided to eliminate any odors that may remain inside the kitchen hood.

The 'Kitchen Hood Care Service' is distinguished by disassembling the inside of the hood to thoroughly maintain not only the filter but also the exterior, interior, motor, fan, and other hard-to-reach areas. In addition, the cleaning agent used has obtained eco-friendly certification and certification confirming compliance with household chemical product safety standards, ensuring its safety.

The service is available for kitchen hoods that have been in use for five years or less, and is offered in two types depending on the product's width: △Standard (600㎜ or less) and △Deluxe (over 600㎜). The service can be requested through Coway's official call center, and from mid-July it can also be requested through Coway's own online store, Coway.com.
