Kohler Novita has launched the 'Sterilizing Bidet Premium (BD-H900)' and the 'Touchless Bidet (BD-C700)', products that concentrate its hygiene care technology.
The new products are characterized by significantly enhanced bathroom hygiene care. In particular, the 'Sterilizing Bidet Premium' is the premium version of the 'Sterilizing Bidet (BD-H700)', which achieved the legendary feat of selling out upon release. It further upgrades hygiene functions by adding 'automatic open/close' and 'automatic flush' technologies to the core features of the existing sterilizing bidet. With the automatic open/close function, a sensor detects a person's movement so the lid opens and closes on its own. In addition, a 3-level distance setting function allows the movement detection distance to be optimized according to the bathroom environment, and the seat and cover can also be opened and closed manually using the remote control. Flushing is likewise performed automatically as the seat lid closes, making it convenient and hygienic to use from start to finish. The bidet's hygiene care is also carried out automatically. Through a 3-step automatic sterilization system, once every 24 hours it uses electrolyzed water to automatically sterilize harmful bacteria on the inside and outside of the nozzle as well as on the ceramic body. It also attends to details that consider bathroom interior design. With a hygienic design that minimizes exterior seams, it comes in three color finishes — ▲Copper Gold ▲Matte Black ▲Neutral Silver — allowing users to choose according to their interior details. The 'Touchless Bidet' is characterized by enhanced bidet hygiene, adding 'contactless washing' and 'automatic flush' functions so that everything stays clean down to your fingertips. By incorporating touchless technology into the bidet, you can use the washing and bidet functions without pressing a button simply by holding your hand beneath the control panel. Like the 'Sterilizing Bidet Premium', it includes an automatic flush function via a human-body detection sensor, so water flushes automatically without touching a lever. Bidet hygiene care is also convenient. When it is time to replace the nozzle, an LED notification appears on the control panel button, and the stainless steel nozzle can be entirely replaced easily and simply using the replacement button on the control panel.
For both products, the main body is rated IPX5 and the remote control IPX7 for water resistance, making them easy to wash with water and reducing concerns about malfunctions caused by moisture. In addition, Novita's patented rotating nozzle lets you choose from regular, mist, and air-mist water streams.
