CUCKOO Homesys has launched its new 2023 'Window-Type Air Conditioner,' featuring a more refined dehumidification mode and simplified installation.
According to CUCKOO Homesys, the new product is equipped with a humidity sensor that, when the dehumidification mode is set, automatically adjusts the intensity of the dehumidification stages to match the target humidity level. In addition, unlike ordinary air conditioners, it does not require a separate outdoor unit, so with just the 'Easy Installation Kit' anyone can easily and conveniently mount it on a window frame by themselves.
Furthermore, to help reduce cooling costs, the new product is fitted with a dual-inverter compressor, achieving a Grade 1 energy efficiency rating. Notably, CUCKOO Homesys's window-type air conditioner is also included in the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) program that supports the purchase cost of high-efficiency home appliances for households eligible for electricity bill welfare discounts. Noise has also been significantly reduced. When the sleep mode is selected, it produces only 32.5 dB of noise—about the level of a whisper—making it comfortable to use even while sleeping. Moreover, it applies a self-evaporation system that naturally evaporates the moisture generated during cooling through the fan, allowing the air conditioner to be used without a separate drainage pipe. Thanks to its special air-hole structure, the cold air does not blow directly onto the skin, so it does not interfere with sleep or study. In addition, the CUCKOO Homesys 'Window-Type Air Conditioner' offers cooling, dehumidification, fan, and automatic modes suited to the space and the user's preferences, creating a comfortable indoor environment throughout all four seasons.
