Cuckoo is entering the domestic ceiling fan market. The company has launched its first ceiling fan product, the ‘Cuckoo INSPURE Ceiling Fan (model CCF-BBL4210W),’ and has begun full-scale sales.

With this ceiling fan launch, Cuckoo completes an air-care lineup that now encompasses air-circulation devices in addition to air purifiers and window-type air conditioners. The new ‘Cuckoo INSPURE Ceiling Fan’ is notable for being designed with the low-ceiling environments of Korean apartments in mind. Its ultra-slim design, which minimizes the body height to 17 cm, helps preserve a sense of spatial openness once installed. The blade size is 42 inches (107 cm). The core feature of the ‘Cuckoo INSPURE Ceiling Fan’ is its bidirectional rotation motor. In summer, forward rotation generates a cooling breeze, while in winter, reverse rotation circulates the warm air pooled near the ceiling back down. As a result, the company explains, it can improve heating and cooling efficiency and reduce energy consumption. It also features 6-step wind speed control and an LED mood light with three color options (warm white, natural white, and daylight).

Because ceiling fans require essential ceiling reinforcement work and wiring, they are a product category with high barriers to entry for consumers. Cuckoo leverages its nationwide network of professional installers to provide on-site installation free of charge. The strategy is to quickly secure market share by easing consumer concerns about installation difficulty and after-sales service (AS).

A Cuckoo official said, “As demand for ceiling fans grows in both residential and commercial spaces amid rising consumer interest in interior design effects and energy savings, we will target this niche market with proven installation services and product capabilities,” adding, “Going forward, we will expand our reach into home appliances that encompass hygiene, convenience, and energy efficiency.”

Meanwhile, Cuckoo also unveiled the ‘Cuckoo Mini Care Dryer,’ which can be installed without an exhaust hose. The new ‘Mini Care Dryer’ has a compact 3 kg capacity, allowing it to be installed not only in utility rooms but also in various spaces such as living rooms and verandas. Its hose-free design reduces installation constraints, while a front LCD display and quick dial enhance ease of operation. In addition, its sterilization function, which uses 55-degree high-temperature hot air, delivers a 99.99% sterilization effect, and it also features a smart drying function in which an internal temperature sensor detects the condition of the garments and automatically stops operation. 1588-8899
