Hyundai Livart has unveiled its ‘COY Series’ of kids furniture, comprising desk sets, beds and more, and it is winning a positive response from consumers.
Hyundai Livart’s functional student furniture ‘COY Collection’ consists of a total of 52 items, including desks, bookshelves, beds and wardrobes. From these 52 items in the ‘COY Collection,’ customers can combine a variety of pieces to suit their space and taste when decorating a child’s room. Notable examples include the ‘COY 5-Tier Standard Desk Set (506,000 won),’ which offers outstanding storage, and the ‘COY Cloud Bed (582,000 won),’ whose floating structure makes the space appear larger. Among them, the ‘COY Mobile Desk’ in particular features a pentagonal tabletop with a 170-degree diagonal edge, rather than the right-angled rectangular shape of a typical desk. Regarding this, a Hyundai Livart official said, “We applied a differentiated tabletop design so that when a parent or friend sits next to the child, they can communicate naturally without having to turn their body,” adding, “The side opposite the diagonal has the same level structure as an ordinary desk, so the desk can be used freely to suit its purpose.” In addition, the surface of the COY desk is given a special Anti-Finger Plus (AF+) treatment, so it shows fewer fingerprints than an ordinary desk and pen marks can be wiped off easily. Furthermore, the front bookshelf on both the mobile and fixed desks has a depth of 39.5 cm—10 cm deeper than the front bookshelf of a conventional desk—providing space optimized for the use of digital devices such as laptops and tablet PCs. On top of this, the COY bed features a divider panel that blocks the line of sight, giving it a design that lets children feel cozy and sleep soundly while lying down.
