Fursys, a company specializing in office environments, has launched the 'PLAD' series of flexible open bookshelves designed specifically for dividing open shared spaces.
Unlike the past, when spaces were divided by partitions or walls, the trend of using furniture to partition space in open offices has recently grown popular. In addition, as millennials—who prefer a casual yet private work environment—now make up more than 60% of the workforce, a growing number of companies are creating open workspaces within their offices. In line with this trend, Fursys has introduced the 'PLAD Series,' which maintains a sense of openness while naturally partitioning space to enhance work focus.
The 'PLAD Series' comes in three types: open, storage, and cabinet. Users can select and combine various modules to freely partition space according to their needs. A steel frame structure with open sides, along with a proprietary connector that helps arrange each module horizontally and vertically without wobbling, adds stability and durability.
