Festool Korea presents a more convenient new guide rail system designed to improve productivity in interior work and to create a healthy, dust-free working environment.
The newly introduced ‘FS/2-KP’ guide rail is available in two cutting lengths: 1,400 mm and 1,900 mm. The new product features a newly added groove in the center of the guide rail, allowing it to be inserted over the carrying handles of any Systainer for easy transport. In addition, it enables precise, straight cuts when working horizontally on floors and work surfaces or when used against a wall. Furthermore, the newly added adhesive pads securely fix the guide rail in place and prevent slipping, further increasing work efficiency. The ‘FS/2-KP’ guide rail is also compatible with the new guide rail accessories introduced alongside it, creating a complete guide rail system that boosts work efficiency.
When used with the new ‘FS-WA’ angle stop, angles between –60 and +60 degrees can be cut quickly and accurately, and the self-adjusting FSV/2 connecting piece allows guide rails to be joined together quickly and conveniently in a straight line. Moreover, the adhesive pads included with the ‘FS/2-KP’ guide rail make it easy to fix the rail onto a variety of surfaces—including walls—for work on work surfaces and horizontal applications. In addition, because attaching and removing the pads leaves no marks, they are even more useful at interior work sites. In addition, Festool is currently conducting an important safety notice worldwide regarding its ‘Sliding Miter Saw KS 88’ and ‘KS 120’ models produced and sold between 2007 and February 2010. As a preventive consumer protection measure, customers are being asked to check whether products manufactured during the noticed period are subject to the recall. Recall eligibility can be checked by entering the part number (T number) and serial number (S number) on the website (www.festool.com/retrofit), and customers who own an affected product should notify Festool immediately.
