Festool Korea has officially launched the ‘CTL MIDI I AC’ mobile dust extractor in the domestic market, a compact and lightweight unit designed to maximize on-site efficiency.
The new ‘CTL MIDI I AC’ features powerful turbine performance with a maximum suction of 3,700 ℓ/min and a maximum vacuum of 24,000 ㎩, and its 15 ℓ dust capacity allows for reliable use across a variety of work environments. In addition, measuring just 550×320×495 ㎜ and weighing approximately 11 ㎏, it is easy to transport between job sites and to store. The top is designed with a flat loading surface and Systainer³-compatible structure, allowing tools and accessories to be loaded and transported efficiently. The most notable feature of the new product is the addition of the AutoClean (AC) automatic filter cleaning function to the existing ‘CTL MIDI I’ model. This function periodically shakes off the fine dust that accumulates on the filter surface even during operation, preventing any drop in suction power. As a result, users can reduce downtime and cleaning time caused by filter clogging, enabling stable operation over long periods. It is particularly effective in work environments that generate large amounts of dust, such as gypsum board, painting, and renovation work, and the cleaning interval can be set to 15/30/60/120 seconds via the Festool app. Furthermore, the new ‘CTL MIDI I AC’ allows suction power to be adjusted easily with an electronic touch panel, and features a hose storage compartment and power cable management function that enhance convenience when moving around the site. In addition, when equipped with the Bluetooth® module (optional), the extractor can be linked with a wireless remote control or power tool to automatically switch on and off, providing a smart working environment. Beyond this, the ‘CTL MIDI I AC’ protects the operator’s respiratory health even in dust-heavy work environments and keeps the site clean, improving both final finish quality and productivity at the same time.
