The 'CTLC SYS I' evolves the previously corded 'CTL SYS I' into a cordless product with no loss of dust extraction performance, delivering high-quality extraction performance together with even greater usability and outstanding portability. The dust extraction performance of the equivalently specced corded extractor 'CTL SYS'—rated Class L (dust concentration >1㎎/㎥) under European dust standards—is maintained even after the switch to cordless power, thanks to a powerful 36V turbine driven by two 18V 4.0Ah batteries. In addition, the dust extraction output can now be controlled in three levels, a feature not available on the existing 'CTL SYS', allowing users to set their desired extraction output and even conserve battery. Furthermore, with its light weight of 7.1㎏, lightweight construction, and outstanding portability, the 'CTLC SYS I' enables high-quality dust extraction freely while working on the move. On top of this, using the carrying strap, it can be worn like a bag on the job site, making it easy to extract dust simultaneously while performing a wide range of tasks such as drilling, overhead work, ladder work, and paint-finish sanding. When used together with Festool's cordless tools, it links with the 18V Bluetooth battery so that dust extraction starts automatically the moment the tool is operated, and the power can also be conveniently switched on and off with a Bluetooth remote.
Beyond this, it is designed to be fully compatible with Festool's Systainer storage box system, so it can be connected and combined with every generation of Systainer, and the hose storage compartment on the top can be detached to reduce its size even further compared to before.
