Bang & Olufsen has launched its new high-end portable speaker, the 'Beosound A5,' simultaneously worldwide.
Unveiled in collaboration with 'GamFratesi'—a captivating design duo known for its experimental yet practical work—the 'Beosound A5' combines Bang & Olufsen's signature immersive sound, refined craftsmanship, and software designed to extend the product's longevity.
The 'Beosound A5' sits at the intersection of portable audio and home audio. Using its sturdy oak handle, the speaker can be moved easily from room to room and placed anywhere—on the floor, a shelf, or a table. With an IP65 water- and dust-resistance rating, over 12 hours of playtime, and a wireless phone charger integrated into the speaker's top panel, it also performs flawlessly as a portable speaker. In particular, the 'Beosound A5' was completed by Gam, from Denmark, and Fratesi, from Italy, poetically bridging the design sensibilities of Northern and Southern Europe. It comes in two colors—Natural Aluminium (Nordic Weave) and Black Anthracite (Dark Oak). The Natural Aluminium color evokes the relaxed feeling of a Scandinavian summer spent by the seaside, while the Black Anthracite color brings to mind a Nordic winter forest. Both products blend beautifully into any setting, indoors or in nature, showcasing the excellence of Scandinavian design.
