LG Electronics is launching two new ‘PuriCare 360° Air Purifier Pet’ products featuring a rose gold color.
LG Electronics applied rose gold—a color favored by consumers in their 20s and 30s—to the new products. The sophisticated color also pairs well with home interiors. The ‘PuriCare 360° Air Purifier Pet’ is a product LG Electronics released last year for customers with pets, and the new products offer enhanced deodorization performance as well as improved pet hair and dust removal performance compared to previous products.
The new products feature a photocatalytic filter for powerful deodorization performance. TUV Rheinland, a global testing and certification body, certified LG Electronics’ test results showing that this filter removes about 55% more harmful gases—such as ammonia, acetaldehyde, and acetic acid, the main components of pet waste odors—than the existing PuriCare 360°, based on cumulative purification volume. This filter’s deodorization performance is regenerated when exposed to fluorescent light or sunlight for a certain period of time.
In addition, in-house test results showed that, in Pet Mode, the new products removed about 35% more pet hair and dust than previous products. The attachable ultra-fine filter makes it easy to remove pet hair and dust stuck to the filter. The new products are the only pet air purifiers sold in Korea that remove 99.999% of ultra-fine particles as small as 0.01 micrometers.
In addition, the ‘PuriCare 360° Air Purifier Pet’ can draw in and purify air from multiple directions, reducing blind spots where air cannot be purified, while the Clean Booster generates a strong airflow to send clean air far into the room, helping circulate indoor air.
The new products consist of a Type 30 model (model name: AS300DGPA) and a Type 19 model (model name: AS190DGPA) based on clean air coverage, priced from 1,199,000 won to 1,569,000 won.
