Eco-friendliness secured with SE0-grade materials and the Eco-Label (Environmental Labeling Certification)
Homecc Interior, the interior specialty brand of KCC Glass (CEO Chung Mong-ik), has newly launched the premium reinforced flooring products 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture' and 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture Wide' in line with the trend toward premium interiors, strengthening its flooring product lineup.
Homecc Interior's new products 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture' and 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture Wide' are premium flooring products that combine a lifelike design capturing the inherent feel of natural wood with the advantages of reinforced flooring, which is highly moisture-resistant and offers high heating efficiency. In particular, 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture' and 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture Wide' are characterized by a deep, dimensional Real Embossing technique that reproduces a realistic texture just like actual wood grain. In addition, the 'Micro-beveling' method is applied to gently refine the edges, adding a clean finish to the joints where the flooring connects. The new 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture' is released in 4 designs and 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture Wide' in 8 designs, allowing customers to create their desired space to suit their taste, from an organic mood to a modern mood. Furthermore, the long, wide large-format dimensions add a sense of spatial expansion when installed. 'Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture Wide,' measuring 165 mm in width and 1,205 mm in length, boasts the largest size among Homecc Interior's flooring products. In addition, the new products use Grade 1 water-resistant plywood to minimize deformation and warping caused by temperature or humidity, and apply the HPL (High Pressure Laminate) method for high-strength surface coating, further enhancing abrasion resistance and stain resistance. Moreover, by using SE0 (Super E0) grade materials—the highest eco-friendly grade in Korea—and obtaining the Ministry of Environment's official Eco-Label (Environmental Labeling Certification), the products have secured eco-friendliness, so they can be used with peace of mind even in homes with young children.
A KCC Glass official said, "Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture and Soop Reinforced Flooring Texture Wide are flooring products that leverage the advantages of reinforced flooring—being more resistant to damage and moisture than solid wood flooring—while reproducing the distinctive feel of solid wood even more realistically," adding, "Since they can be installed at a reasonable cost compared to solid wood flooring and, with their larger dimensions, can also give a sense of spatial expansion, we expect them to gain great popularity in the flooring market."
Meanwhile, Homecc Interior's flooring products are being recognized for their outstanding product quality by both consumers and experts—ranking first in the residential flooring category for the eighth consecutive year at the '2023 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)' organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) this year, and being certified as an officially recommended product by the Korean Society of Interior Architects/Designers (KOSID). 1877-8204
