Philips Lighting Korea has launched 'Strider,' an LED study lamp featuring a glare-free, 3D-rotating stand head that makes it easy to adjust the direction of the light.
'Strider' is a product that earned the highest grade in the photobiological safety standard (IEC62471) conducted by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), the international standards body for electrical technology. It does not emit blue light, infrared, or ultraviolet rays that are harmful to the eyes and skin. It is also designed to prevent all glare phenomena that occur when using lighting.
'Strider' is designed with an asymmetrical structure that provides a wide beam angle, emitting light over a broader area. It provides users with sufficiently bright light and prevents 'direct glare,' which occurs when light is emitted in the wrong direction. In addition, the honeycomb lens, which minimizes eye strain with uniform light, diffuses light in a rectangular rather than an oval shape, thereby preventing 'reflected glare' transmitted by reflecting off surfaces.
