Three 'Philips LED Study Lamps'

Signify Korea, a global lighting company, is proposing three eye-friendly 'Philips LED Study Lamps' ahead of the upcoming new school term.

The 'Philips LED Study Lamps' are characterized by uniform brightness that reduces eye fatigue and keeps the eyes comfortable, free of the flickering that can accelerate nearsightedness. Signify Korea's three 'Philips LED Study Lamps' consist of the 'Philips iCarePie,' the 'Philips Halley,' and the 'Philips RobotPlus.'

△The Philips iCarePie is a premium vision-protection lamp featuring a smart light-sensor auto-adjustment system that measures the ambient brightness of the surrounding environment to deliver optimal illumination. In addition, following the conclusion of a joint EENT study that eye-fatigue index rises very rapidly relative to usage time after 40 minutes, it provides a rest-reminder service every 40 minutes to prevent the eye-fatigue index from increasing. △The Philips Halley divides the most commonly used lamp modes into four categories (Rest/Computing/Reading/Study) and applies touch-type control buttons so that the appropriate lighting brightness can be easily adjusted. In particular, it is equipped with a honeycomb micro-prism array that effectively controls the light-emission angle of the LED source, delivering uniform and soft light. △The Philips RobotPlus is a vision-protection lamp featuring Philips' latest patented technology, the Loop Prism. The Loop Prism works to collect stray reflected light in the required direction to minimize glare. In addition, it is fitted with a 'Dome Lens' module that provides light distribution and brightness with minimized glare, distributing uniform and soft light across the width of the desk.

Meanwhile, the three 'Philips LED Study Lamps' newly proposed by Signify Korea are Eye Comfort LED products and have obtained the highest grade in the photobiological safety assessment hosted by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), the international standard body for electrical technology. The photobiological safety standard is an international standard that is determined by assessing the effects of ultraviolet and infrared rays, blue light, and other emissions from lighting devices on the human body, including the skin, eyes, and retina. 02-709-1330
