Philips has officially launched its OLED TV lineup in Korea. The new 'OLED708' is the first OLED TV model Philips has introduced in Korea. It features Ambilight technology, in which LEDs built into the back of the TV (across three sides: both sides and the top) respond in sync with the colors on the TV screen, so the picture and the surrounding space become one—delivering next-generation display technology that provides theater-level vividness.
Whatever you watch, the new product delivers sharp, smooth images, rich colors, and lively detail. In addition, Philips' signature Ambilight TV combines the crisp picture quality of OLED with the ultimate sense of immersion through Ambilight lighting, and together with rich 40W sound supporting Dolby Atmos, it maximizes realism when watching movies or connecting a gaming console. Furthermore, even when you are not watching TV, Ambilight can be used as ambient lighting at all times, completing a stylish home interior and home styling. On top of this, the bezel-less design of the 'OLED708' and its OLED panel provide a wide viewing angle that keeps images looking great from any angle, along with high brightness that lets you see images just as they are, even in everyday ambient light. It also supports all major HDR formats for sharp picture quality, and with customizable Google TV, you can conveniently use the TV with personalized settings through Google Play, Google Assistant, and more.
