Korea VR Corp. (CEO Jang Ho-hyun), a company specializing in virtual reality solutions, announced that its metaverse platform 'Metaworth' will unveil the AI (artificial intelligence) service 'Interior Genie' through a new update.
'Metaworth' is a comprehensive metaverse platform that recreates real-world cities as Digital Twin models. Within the virtual city, users can enjoy elements such as apartment sales, interior design, and shopping, while interacting with other users. In particular, what sets it apart from existing metaverse services is that users can enhance value by designing virtual apartment interiors using the 120,000 '3D VR apartment floor plans' available nationwide and the 'real-time rendering-based space editor' provided by Metaworth. The newly introduced 'Interior Genie' is a service that proposes interior concept drafts to Metaworth users. By applying AI image generation technology based on the recently spotlighted 'Stable Diffusion,' it generates and displays an infinite variety of interior sample images once the user simply selects their desired spatial structure and interior concept. Users can refer to these to decorate their interior designs or use them as inspiration.
Starting with 'Interior Genie,' Korea VR Corp. plans to provide AI interior services to other services within the Kovi platform, including its own professional interior design service 'Kovi Online' and the mobile VR (virtual reality) interior app (application) 'Kovi House VR.'
In addition, Korea VR Corp. announced that it is also conducting research and development on 'image-based AI upscaling technology' that generates even higher-quality images of the VR interior blueprints of Kovi House VR, which employs high-definition real-time rendering technology. An official from Korea VR Corp. said, "Interior Genie is a service launched to help anyone create high-quality, expert-level interior designs even without specialized knowledge of interior design," adding, "We will continue research and development on interior-specialized AI services to lower the entry barrier to interior design for general consumers." 02-3433-5400
