Hankuk Glass has launched 'Cool-Lite SKS143II' and 'Cool-Lite Xtreme 70/33II', which offer excellent thermal insulation performance and superior shading performance.
'Cool-Lite SKS143II' is a double Low-E glass product in a sophisticated silver color, a high-performance, high-efficiency Low-E glass coated with two layers of silver film. Generally, as the number of coating layers increases, the chromatic color tone becomes deeper, making it difficult to achieve superior performance and a sophisticated silver color at the same time. However, Hankuk Glass's independently developed 'Cool-Lite SKS143II' has the best thermal transmittance (U-value) and shading coefficient among the silver-colored Low-E glasses currently sold in the Korean market, making it a product with the finest thermal insulation performance, the company said.
'Cool-Lite Xtreme 70/33II' is a product coated with three layers of silver film on one side of the glass pane, boasting the highest thermal insulation performance. In addition, with the highest level of selectivity in Korea, it transmits the sun's visible light while blocking the hot solar heat, keeping interiors cool and comfortable even in hot summers.
Hankuk Glass's new Low-E glass products boast the highest performance in Korea with their outstanding thermal insulation and solar shading performance. In summer and during the daytime, they block solar heat from outside to reduce cooling costs, and in winter and during the evening, they prevent heating from escaping to the outside to save on heating costs. Because they save energy throughout all four seasons in this way, they are suitable not only for commercial buildings but also for apartments, houses, and mixed-use residential-commercial buildings.
