Hanssem, a comprehensive home interior specialist, announced the launch of the 'Hanssem Mirror TV,' its first home IoT product jointly developed with Shinsegae I&C.
This past May, Hanssem signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shinsegae I&C, the Shinsegae Group's IT service specialist, for joint development and technical support of home IoT products and services. The 'Hanssem Mirror TV' normally functions as an ordinary mirror but can also be used as a TV.
In addition, the new 'Hanssem Mirror TV' sets itself apart in design by using aluminum—a material employed in interior mirrors—for its TV frame, and it reflects Hanssem's design identity, which is centered on modern styling, through the use of steel legs. It also draws attention with its 32-inch Samsung A-grade panel offering HD resolution (1366×768) for a crisp picture. Furthermore, the 'Hanssem Mirror TV' comes with 'Google Chromecast.' This device lets you easily view content such as videos, music, and photos from your smartphone on the TV; connecting to the TV via the 'Google Home' app on your smartphone lets you enjoy content from YouTube, Netflix, Wavve, and more on the large screen.
A Hanssem representative said, "The Hanssem Mirror TV is the first home IoT product Hanssem and Shinsegae I&C have launched since signing the MOU," adding, "We plan to gradually expand our distribution channels beyond Shinsegae Mall to various online shopping malls and Hanssem Design Park offline stores, so we ask for your keen interest." Meanwhile, the new 'Hanssem Mirror TV' is available for purchase on SSG.COM, and to commemorate its launch, the first 100 buyers will receive a 'Google Home Mini,' a voice-recognition AI speaker that can be connected to and used with the 'Hanssem Mirror TV.' 1688-4945
