With the peak vacation season approaching and the 'Home-cation (Home+Vacance)' trend of relaxing at home emerging as a new way to spend the holidays, Hanssem is rolling out a variety of remodeling packages and services at reasonable prices, both online and offline.
Hanssem noted that summer—falling outside the moving and newlywed seasons—has traditionally been considered a slow period for furniture and remodeling, but that demand has recently grown compared with last year due to social distancing. In fact, Hanssem's June sales rose about 23% year over year, and the number of remodeling package projects more than doubled. Expecting this demand to continue into the height of the vacation season from late July through late August, Hanssem has been preparing since the first half of the year by expanding its professional installation workforce by about 20% compared with the previous year.
Through the 31st of next month, customers who sign a contract after requesting a consultation for the Rehaus Style Package 'Super' on the online Hanssem.com will receive the Hanssem Home Care service, built-in wardrobes, and more. Priced reasonably at around 990,000 won per pyeong, 'Super' has been this year's best-selling package since its debut in the first half of the year. Hanssem has also introduced the 'Renovate-While-You-Live Home Construction Package' for partial-renovation customers. Priced from 400,000 to 600,000 won per pyeong, it bundles the kitchen, bathroom, interior doors, entryway, and more, with installation possible in as little as one day and up to three days. Because partial renovation lets you change your home's atmosphere without leaving the house empty for long periods, it is a particularly popular package during the vacation season. Hanssem is offering 'sun spray' to visitors at Hanssem Rehaus locations nationwide on a first-come, first-served basis, and customers who sign contracts worth 12 million won or more by the end of July will receive a 'Samsung Galaxy S20' smartphone.
In addition, since early July the online Hanssem Mall has offered the 'Delivery My Way' service, which lets customers freely choose their furniture delivery and installation dates. Delivery dates can be scheduled from as early as the next day up to 30 days out, so customers can receive their furniture on the date they want during the vacation season. A Hanssem official said, "As home-cations have recently drawn attention, sales of partial-renovation packages that can be handled easily at home during the holidays, as well as relaxation-related furniture such as beds, mattresses, and sofas, are showing a clear upward trend compared with the same period last year," adding, "We have prepared a variety of home interior products as a reasonable alternative to long-distance vacations, so we hope you'll take a keen interest." 1688-4945
