Hanwha L&C has launched a renewed version of its premium functional cushioned flooring, 'Sorijium (4.5T).' 'Sorijium' is a residential flooring that features a high-elasticity cushion layer, and it has enjoyed steady popularity since its launch thanks to its ability to reduce inter-floor noise, which has recently emerged as a social issue. Actual test results show a reduction in lightweight impact sound—55 dB when Sorijium 4.5T is applied—compared with a conventional cement floor (74 dB) or hardwood flooring (64 dB), and its excellent cushioning provides a superior walking feel.
In addition, the surface layer that comes into contact with the skin employs a special anti-allergy surface treatment technology for an eco-friendly finish, while a diamond antibacterial UV coating makes it resistant to everyday scratches and scuffs. All of the PVC flooring products use only pure raw materials with no scrap whatsoever, and the product has earned the Ministry of Environment's Eco-Label Certification as well as the Korea Atopy Association's Atopy Safe Mark.
The newly renewed 'Sorijium (4.5T)' offers a total of 10 designs, comprehensively renewing the existing 9 wood-grain patterns and adding 1 previously unavailable non-wood pattern. In particular, it draws attention with a product whose wood plank is about 55 cm longer than the standard wood pattern. A notable feature is that installing the wood plank product—extended up to 1,800 mm—reduces pattern repetition, creating an effect that makes the space look much denser and more expansive. In addition to the wood patterns, a new non-wood pattern, 'Modern Harmony (S6810),' inspired by concrete-material tile designs, has been added to broaden the range of choices and enable a variety of interior styling.
