Bathroom brand Royal & Co (formerly R-TOTO) has launched ‘BLOEI,’ a fragrance-emitting, one-piece ceramic bidet toilet.

The new ‘BLOEI’ is a one-piece ceramic toilet that, in addition to its fragrance-spray function, incorporates the latest sterilization and cleaning technologies. Designer Song Bong-gyu of BKID—a winner of international design awards including the iF and Red Dot—collaborated on the development of its exterior design. The fragrance-spray technology built into ‘BLOEI’ releases fragrance before and after use to form an oil film on the water surface inside the bowl, fundamentally blocking odors from rising upward. It also features a differentiated bowl-cleaning function by applying electrolytic sanitizing-water technology for the first time in the world.

The latest technology has been applied to the bidet as well. Its electronic pump rapidly repeats on-and-off cycles to generate more than 70 water droplets, delivering a gentle yet highly effective cleansing action, and it was designed—based on advice from a colorectal surgery professor—to avoid irritating the skin.

A Royal & Co representative said, “We considered not just the toilet itself but also the spatial concept of ‘a place of uninterrupted immersion,’” adding, “We will pioneer a new field—the fragrant ‘perfume toilet’—in the global bidet market.”

Meanwhile, since its founding in 1970 as the faucet manufacturer ‘Royal Metal,’ Royal & Co has researched, developed, and manufactured faucets, sanitary ware, tiles, and more. Since 2017, it has partnered with more than 200 bathroom product and installation partner companies to provide bathroom interior and installation services for general consumers. 1566-7070
