A new product from the Swiss sliding specialist Hawa, Hawa Concepta III is a magical solution in which pulling and pushing a kitchen furniture door that outwardly looks like a cabinet reveals hidden kitchen functions. Developed over roughly five years of research, Hawa Concepta III uses entirely newly developed technology that makes it faster and easier than ever to install and adjust pivot and folding sliding doors. Operation is also intuitive and design flexibility is outstanding, allowing a solution to be designed to suit the requested design options and concept regardless of the door's height, quantity, or the presence of a handle. In particular, Hawa Concepta III is applied not only as a means of enhancing furniture utility but also supports new modes of living, and can be used effectively to flexibly transform spaces—from kitchen to living room, from workplace to living space. Suitable for a wide range of applications such as drawers, cabinets, and dressing rooms, Hawa Concepta III lets a door of any size be slid to the side and tucked into a very narrow space in the blink of an eye; with a light tap followed by a push, the door closes flush with the space, revealing only an aesthetic front face.

Hawa Concepta III allows various floor-to-ceiling combinations to be designed through its pivot (1 door) and folding (2–4 doors) opening methods and the number of doors, and the presence or absence of a handle can be chosen. Even without a handle, the Push to Open function lets the door be opened and closed—or pulled out from a recessed space—with a single touch. Above all, the strengths of Hawa Concepta III are fast installation and easy adjustment. With simplicity as its core concept, Concepta III can be installed easily and intuitively, and its highly pre-assembled components greatly reduce both the worker's workload and the number of tools required, so that with just 12 screws, assembly and installation are completed within 8 minutes. In addition, all adjustments can be performed quickly and precisely through easily accessible adjustment points. In particular, Hawa Concepta III—which guarantees 40,000-cycle reliability through top-grade testing equivalent to a lifespan of about 25 years—provides a configuration tool that generates installation instructions and a 3D CAD file simply by entering the cabinet and door dimensions, helping anyone easily design innovative spaces.
