Häfele Korea Co., Ltd. has launched the ‘Linear Lens’ from its interzum Award-winning ‘Loox’ LED lighting line.

The Häfele ‘Linear Lens’ helps users work under perfectly uniform lighting without any glare. The ‘Linear Lens’ is designed to be added between an existing Häfele ‘LOOX’ strip light and its profile. Adding the ‘Linear Lens’ to the lighting concentrates the light of the strip light and doubles the illuminance of the user’s desired focal area, reducing glare for the user by 85%.

In addition, lighting installed with the ‘Linear Lens’ can, like other products in the ‘Loox’ range, be controlled from a smartphone via Loox switches (touch, sensor, motion sensor, etc.) or the Häfele Connect Mesh application system, which uses Bluetooth (BLE Mesh) technology. It is typically used for kitchens, utility rooms, cabinet interior lighting, and the like. Consumers can choose and install the specification that suits them from a 5 mm-wide strip light or an 8 mm-wide strip light, and it can also be installed DIY-style without the help of a professional installer.

A Häfele Korea official said, “The Linear Lens is easy to install and delivers outstanding brightness,” adding, “We hope the Linear Lens will further raise awareness of Häfele’s lighting line.”

Meanwhile, the Linear Lens is a solution jointly developed by Häfele and experts at the Bartenbach lighting research institute in Innsbruck, Austria, and can be purchased on the Häfele Korea website (www.hafele.co.kr). All indirect lighting systems, including the Linear Lens, have been updated on the website. 1899-0091
