As part of its design-driven management strategy, Hyundai Livart is introducing furniture from an overseas brand specializing in color.

Total interior company Hyundai Livart has unveiled 7 chair models from 'Colico,' an Italian furniture brand with a 100-year heritage. Colico is a specialist chair furniture brand founded in Italy in 1920 by furniture designer Andrea Colico.

​The newly introduced 'Colico Chair' comes in a total of 7 models, divided into standard types (3 models) and armchair types (4 models) depending on whether they have armrests. The main products feature a striking range of designs, from transparent chairs that you can see through top to bottom to bold colors that convey the intensity of primary hues such as red, yellow, and black. Every process from production to packaging is carried out locally in Italy, and the chairs are imported into Korea as finished products.

​The Colico Chair is made of polycarbonate, a heat-resistant reinforced plastic, achieving a premium finish quality that ranges from colorless transparency to glossy, shimmering colored surfaces. It also boasts an original design, combining plastic with premium solid wood.

Hyundai Livart's introduction of overseas furniture with distinctive colors and designs reflects the application of its design differentiation strategy to overseas MD development as well. Earlier this year, Hyundai Livart developed the 'Livart Color Palette,' its own color manual that expresses its brand philosophy of 'authenticity, value, and differentiation,' and is applying it across all of its furniture products, pouring company-wide effort into strengthening its design capabilities.

​Hyundai Livart also plans to actively pursue collaboration between its existing domestic product lines and overseas MD. In fact, Hyundai Livart is newly launching the 'Dilis Light Dining Table' (available in 3 colors: red, green, and black), which applies the Livart Color Palette, and is presenting it as a package with the Colico Chair.

​A Hyundai Livart official said, "We will continue to pursue differentiated strategies to lead domestic furniture design trends going forward."

Meanwhile, the Colico Chair is sold at offline stores nationwide and on the official online mall 'Livart Mall' (www.hyundailivart.co.kr). Prices are 418,000 won for the standard type and 764,000 won for the armchair type.
