Hyundai Livart has unveiled single-seat furniture products designed to target the 'stay-home' trend, in which people spend most of their time at home amid the spread of COVID-19.

Hyundai Livart said, "As the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has increased the number of 'homebodies' who voluntarily stay at home rather than going out—amid trends such as 'stay home' and the 'layered home' (the expansion of the home's functions to include rest, sleep, work, study, and more)—we launched single-seat chairs that can be used for a variety of purposes, taking into account the growing consumer demand for chairs that serve both rest and sleep functions."

The new products consist of three lines (eight items in total): the 'Sherbet Single Swivel Chair,' the 'Orb Single Manual Recliner,' and the 'Craft Bean Bag.'

The 'Sherbet Single Swivel Chair' is a functional armchair that rotates 360 degrees. For a comfortable seating experience, its backrest features a wingback (a backrest that wraps around your back like wings). In addition, it features a 'rocking function' that allows the body to tilt up to 10 degrees back and forth so that sitting for long periods remains comfortable, and it uses a functional fabric with water-repellent properties to enhance practicality. The product includes a dedicated footstool, and it is available in a choice of two colors: Heron Egg Green and Star Pink.

The 'Orb Single Manual Recliner' is distinguished by its adjustable backrest angle. The backrest can be reclined from 110 degrees up to a maximum of 155 degrees, providing optimal comfort while sitting or resting, and the headrest angle can be adjusted to suit activities such as reading or watching movies. The product includes a dedicated footstool and comes in a total of two colors: Oyster Shell Golden Gray and Ribbon Fish Green.

'Craft' is a product created in collaboration with the bean bag chair brand 'Polymolly.' It uses 100% domestic pure cotton and EPP (expanded polypropylene)—a highly durable filling material—to support the body with stability. The front is printed with a pattern based on the work of illustrator Kinjuri, while the back is embroidered with the comforting phrase 'Stay at Home and Chillax' for added decorative appeal. It is available in two sizes: the L size comes in two colors, Ocean Ridge Brown and Ocean Lapis Blue, and the S size comes in a choice of two colors, Simos Green and Basket Star Pink.

The products are sold through 'Livart Mall (https://www.hyundailivart.co.kr),' Hyundai Livart's official online mall. To mark the launch of the new products, a limited quantity is being offered at a discount: the 'Sherbet Single Swivel Chair' and 'Orb Single Manual Recliner' at 30% off (Sherbet Single Swivel Chair, 328,000 won; Orb Single Recliner Sofa, 519,000 won), and 'Craft' at 20% off (Craft Bean Bag L, 299,000 won; S, 219,000 won).

A Hyundai Livart official said, "The three new products are characterized by their compact size while offering a variety of functions, taking into account the needs of single-person households," adding, "We plan to continue introducing small furniture products with distinctive designs and colors that can enhance home décor."
