Hyundai HCN (CEO Ryu Sung-taek) has launched a new door lock product, 'HY-LOCK,' to strengthen its security solution services.
The new 'HY-LOCK' is a smart door lock that Hyundai HCN planned and produced directly in partnership with specialized manufacturer 'Evernet.' The product features fingerprint recognition, smartphone integration, and status notification icons, along with a high-voltage surge protection circuit and a fire detection sensor for enhanced security. In addition, the product line has been segmented into seven types according to features, strength, and locking method, so that customers can choose a product tailored to their intended use.
Since launching its CCTV products in 2015, Hyundai HCN has steadily expanded its market share, and by adding smart door lock products to its lineup this time, the company has enhanced the completeness of its security solution services. The company is preparing various promotions, including discount benefits for existing CCTV customers who bundle the new door lock.
The company is also actively pursuing overseas expansion with its security solution services. Beginning with the first CCTV export to Australia by a pay-TV operator in 2017, it has signed additional export contracts with companies in Australia and China every year. The new 'HY-LOCK' product is likewise under discussion for sales contracts with overseas companies. 1877-8000
