Synchronized emboss technology renders the texture of natural materials, with a wide-format design
Hyundai L&C has launched ‘Myeongga 2.2,’ an eco-friendly LOOM sheet flooring with a renewed design lineup.
‘Myeongga 2.2’ is an eco-friendly flooring free of phthalate plasticizers and hazardous substances such as cadmium, lead, mercury, and chromium. Its emissions of formaldehyde—a cause of sick building syndrome—and of volatile organic compounds harmful to the human body meet the standards of the Ministry of Environment’s Eco-Label certification. In addition, its superior antibacterial and anti-mold performance has earned it recommended-product certification from the Korea Atopy Association, allowing it to be used with peace of mind and without concerns about allergies.
This ‘Myeongga 2.2’ renewal is characterized by the application of synchronized emboss technology, which aligns the pattern with the embossing to realistically render the texture of natural materials. Furthermore, a wide-format design technique that minimizes the repetition of unit patterns compared with previous products has been applied, optimizing it for interiors that convey a sense of spaciousness.
The 2022 new product ‘Myeongga 2.2’ comprises a total of 26 designs, including 12 in the Stone Collection—which stands out for its refined, stylish designs and natural texture—and 14 in the Wood Collection—which expresses the inherent texture of wood to capture the value of nature. Both collections feature a full pattern lineup ranging from light to dark colors, offering a wide range of choices to suit consumer preferences.
In addition, the product’s sample book has been newly redesigned in a format that is easy for consumers to review from their own perspective. Unlike the previous sample book, which could only be viewed when laid flat, the new version can also be viewed upright. Samples are arranged in a staircase layout for each collection so that all colors can be seen at a glance, making it easy for consumers to compare and choose.
