HomeCC Interior, the specialized interior brand of KCC Glass (Chairman Chung Mong-ik), has launched 'Soop Solid Wood Flooring Cheong,' a solid wood flooring product, strengthening its premium flooring lineup.

The newly launched 'Soop Solid Wood Flooring Cheong' is a premium flooring product that uses natural solid wood as its surface material, allowing users to experience the sophisticated grain unique to solid wood just as it is. In particular, the surface of the flooring is protected and its durability enhanced through a total of seven coats of high-strength UV coating and the use of crack-prevention paint. It has also proven its safety by earning the highest grade for eco-friendly building materials (HB Mark) from the Korea Air Cleaning Association. In addition, 'Soop Solid Wood Flooring Cheong' features wide and long dimensions—wide format (150 mm wide, 1,200 mm long) and medium format (125 mm wide, 900 mm long)—to bring out the natural grain of the solid wood more naturally and make spaces appear larger. The new 'Soop Solid Wood Flooring Cheong' comes in a total of 10 diverse design patterns, ranging from the bright and vivid 'Rochester White' pattern to the dark-toned 'Forte Oak' pattern that stands out for its modern yet dignified style, enabling consumers to create spaces with a variety of moods to suit their tastes.

A KCC Glass official emphasized, "As a trend toward premiumization sweeps the construction market, demand for premium flooring materials is steadily increasing," adding, "The new Soop Solid Wood Flooring Cheong maintains the sophisticated natural solid-wood grain that is the strength of solid wood flooring, while enhancing durability to reduce the concern of damage during use. As such, it will be an excellent choice for customers who want a sophisticated interior atmosphere without worrying about maintenance."

Meanwhile, 'Soop,' the residential flooring brand of KCC Glass HomeCC Interior, was recognized by consumers as the top flooring brand this year, winning first place in the household flooring category for the seventh consecutive year at the '2022 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)' organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). 02-2015-8500
