'HomeCC Interior,' the specialized interior brand of KCC Glass (CEO Chung Mong-ik), held its trend seminar '2024/25 TRENDIVE' and selected 'Reimagine' as the main theme for its 2024–2025 interior trends.
Now in its fourth year, 'TRENDIVE' is a seminar in which HomeCC Interior analyzes and shares model house trends with representatives of major client companies—including construction firms, architectural offices, interior design companies, and home appliance makers—and introduces interior trends to watch going forward. Composed of two parts and held as a webinar (web + seminar) via an online platform, this year's seminar was a great success, with some 600 people from around 180 companies in attendance. In Part 1, information was shared on trends in materials and options by space applied to model houses, based on the trends and key issues of the 2022–2023 housing sales market. In Part 2, under the theme of 'Reimagine'—selected by HomeCC Interior as the main interior trend theme for 2024–2025—the company proposed interior themes that newly reinterpret how human desires are reflected in a rapidly changing society. In particular, through this seminar, HomeCC Interior presented a total of three design themes: ▲'Enhance,' which considers the changing of values; ▲'Immersion,' about sensory absorption; and ▲'Laid-back,' about emotional recovery.
First, the theme 'Enhance' is characterized by an interior that emphasizes restrained beauty based on a minimal mood, using dark colors that convey both secrecy and gravitas as accents. It is important to provide both simplicity and a sense of weight through contrast with white, and the main materials used include dark wood that evokes the depth of time, stone patterns that naturally match with it, and marble that can highlight deep charm within a restrained tone through large, bold patterns. The second design theme, 'Immersion,' presents interiors characterized by unusual colors, distortion of form, and gradations that soften boundaries. Soft pastel-tone colors face fewer constraints because they can be brought comfortably into a space, and, alongside metallic materials that can express digital aesthetics, monotone patterns that unlock a refined sensibility when matched with color are used as key elements. The third design theme, 'Laid-back,' showcases an interior style that creates a natural atmosphere using neutral colors and materials that seem inspired by a cabin in the woods. Along with neutral colors, wood materials that are slightly darker than last year are actively used to deliver a natural and distinctive sense of space. As it pursues a space for rest, it uses functional materials that can manage noise and actively employs light in the space to create a comfortable atmosphere.
A KCC Glass official said, "KCC Glass plans to reflect the latest trends presented at TRENDIVE and roll out a variety of interior products one after another going forward," adding, "We will continue to share analysis of industry trend information with our clients and strengthen communication through various activities such as seminars." 02-2015-8500
