HAATZ Co., Ltd., a company specializing in indoor air quality management, is introducing the 'Nikola Tesla,' a new downdraft hood that combines a range hood and induction cooktop into a single unit.
The 'Nikola Tesla' is an integrated hood-and-induction product with the hood built into the induction cooktop. It rapidly captures the smoke, odors, and pollutants generated during cooking, preventing them from spreading throughout the room. Both the hood and the induction cooktop are installed in the base cabinet, and the interior cleaning and filter mesh maintenance are easy as well.
The new 'Nikola Tesla' features a built-in leak-prevention reservoir that keeps broth, food, and other substances from flowing into the interior of the hood during cooking, and even if food does get into the hood, it can be easily removed by opening the valve at the bottom. In addition, it is designed so that after washing the hood with water, the wash water can be drained through the valve at the bottom of the reservoir.
The induction cooktop integrated with the hood consists of a total of four burners and is built in an 830 mm wide type. Its 'Flex Zone,' which allows the upper and lower burners on the left side to be used simultaneously, also makes it possible to cook with large pots. Furthermore, the 'Nikola Tesla' can be operated through an intuitive display using a touch-switch system, and the heat can be adjusted through up to nine levels. Beyond this, it is equipped with a variety of functions, including a booster function that greatly reduces cooking time, a timer, and a child lock function to prevent accidents. A HAATZ representative said, "The newly introduced Nikola Tesla, with its refined design accented by a sophisticated black color, will not only upgrade the atmosphere of the kitchen a notch but also make the kitchen far more convenient to use."
Meanwhile, the new HAATZ 'Nikola Tesla' is available in a choice of two models: an external-exhaust type that discharges polluted air to the outside, and a recirculating type that applies three carbon filters within the hood to help circulate and purify the air internally.
