An air conditioner that can provide not only cooling but also heating throughout all four seasons is being launched. LG Electronics is drawing attention with the unveiling of the ‘WHISEN View All-Season Air Conditioner,’ which features cooling, dehumidification, and warm-air functions. The new product is a stand-type all-in-one air conditioner that can use the warm-air function even when the outdoor temperature drops to minus 10 degrees Celsius, and its warm-air intensity is designed to be adjustable across a total of five levels.
The new ‘WHISEN View All-Season Air Conditioner’ applies high-efficiency heat pump technology that creates warm air by compressing and circulating refrigerant with the Dual Inverter Compressor, an LG-branded core component. As a result, it places less burden on electricity bills than conventional heater methods that generate hot air using electricity. In particular, a key strength of the ‘WHISEN View All-Season Air Conditioner’ is that it delivers optimal airflow based on AI Smart Care technology. Even without the user adjusting the airflow strength or direction, once the positions of the air conditioner and furniture are set in the LG ThinQ app, the AI analyzes the space and directs the airflow accordingly. It quickly brings the indoor space to the desired temperature and then maintains that temperature with airflow that does not blow directly onto people. In addition, the new product features a ‘Clean View’ structure that makes it easy to clean the inside of the air conditioner. The top of the product has been simplified so it can be opened easily. Whereas conventional air conditioners required disassembling around 20 screws to open the unit and view the interior, this product requires only loosening a single screw and then pressing a button.
The ‘WHISEN View All-Season Air Conditioner’ can also be custom-made by customers themselves to suit their own tastes and lifestyles. By replacing the lower part of the product with a separately sold View Case, it becomes an interior accessory for displaying figures, books, picture frames, and more. The shipping price of the new ‘WHISEN View All-Season Air Conditioner’ is 3.35 million won, and when used through LG Electronics’ subscription service, regular product inspections, fan cleaning, and filter replacement are provided.
