Bosch Power Tools (Division Head Park Jin-hong) announced the launch of two grinders combining powerful performance with safety: the 'GWS 18V-10 (4-inch grinder)' and the 'GWS 18V-10 SC (4-inch variable-speed grinder)'.
The two newly launched grinders feature a powerful brushless motor capable of delivering 1,000W of power, rivaling that of corded tools. They are also compatible with Bosch's ProCORE18V battery, and when used together, they boast powerful performance and long runtime.
Safety has also been greatly enhanced. The Kickback Control function stops the tool on its own to prevent injury when a sudden recoil occurs due to overload upon contact with an obstacle, while the Drop Control function immediately switches the tool off if it is accidentally dropped to the floor during use — greatly reducing the risk of injury in dangerous moments. In particular, the braking function has been significantly strengthened. Equipped with the Intelligent Brake, the 'GWS 18V-10' and 'GWS 18V-10 SC' can come to a complete stop within about two seconds, allowing operators to work more safely.
△The GWS 18V-10 is a model faithful to the fundamentals, satisfying both work efficiency and safety. Its switch design has been improved for easy on/off operation, and its slim handle and soft grip help operators feel less fatigue even during long working hours. In addition, user convenience has been enhanced by adopting an SDS-type safety cover and a dust guard cover as standard, which can be easily mounted and adjusted without additional tools. △The GWS 18V-10 SC is a model that allows three-stage speed adjustment via a head display. The remaining battery level and the product's overload status can be checked directly on the display during work. Through the low-energy Bluetooth module (GCY 42) mounted on the product, users can easily utilize connectivity features by linking with the Bosch Toolbox app — such as controlling the tool (e.g., adjusting LED lighting), tool status alerts, and profile settings. Furthermore, with a ProCORE18V 8.0Ah battery as standard, ample battery output and long continuous operation are possible, greatly improving work efficiency.
