LG Electronics has launched the 2024 'LG Whisen Objet Collection Tower' air conditioner, which delivers differentiated comfort through even more advanced artificial intelligence (AI).
The new product is equipped with an AI Smart Care function, so that even without the customer manually adjusting the strength or direction of the airflow, the AI delivers optimal comfort centered on the customer's location. This reflects consideration for the pain point where, once the indoor temperature has dropped in hot summer weather, customers find cold air blowing directly on their bodies uncomfortable.
The AI-powered functions operate automatically as follows: ▲'Rapid Cooling,' which sends powerful air directly toward the customer when it is hot; ▲'Comfort Cooling,' in which the air does not blow directly onto the customer once the room becomes cool; and ▲'Air Purification' when air quality is poor. In particular, the '9 Series,' the premium lineup of the 'LG Whisen Tower,' is equipped with a radar sensor so that AI Smart Care identifies the user's location in real time to provide optimal cooling. With the '7 Series,' when the customer uses the LG ThinQ app to take a photo of the space where the air conditioner is installed, the AI analyzes it and activates the AI Smart Care function. Through the app, customers can also enjoy customized cooling tailored to their lifestyle, such as ▲Home Training mode for exercising comfortably, ▲Home Cinema mode for quietly enjoying movies and TV, and ▲Healing mode for relaxing comfortably. The new product also further upgrades the convenient automatic clean management function of the Whisen Tower air conditioner. The newly applied 'Clean Air Outlet' thoroughly applies antibacterial treatment all the way to the outlet that releases the air, and the 'Allergy Care Air Purification' filter reduces allergy-inducing substances. Power-saving performance has also evolved. The new product's Comfort Priority mode keeps the indoor temperature cool while consuming up to about 77% less maximum power than Ice Cool Power, the maximum cooling mode. LG Electronics said, "With the smart artificial intelligence and powerful clean management unique to Whisen air conditioners, we will deliver a comfortable daily life to our customers."
Meanwhile, the price of the new 'LG Whisen Objet Collection Tower,' on a two-in-one (2 in 1) basis, is 4.6 million to 7.95 million won for the Whisen Tower I and 3.15 million to 4.4 million won for the Tower II, and it is offered in three colors: Calming Beige, Cream White, and Cream Sky. 1544-7777
