25 kg Capacity ‘Bespoke Grande Washer AI’

Samsung Electronics, a leader in supersizing home appliances, has launched its new 25 kg ‘Bespoke Grande Washer AI.’

In 2020, reflecting the consumer trend toward doing large loads of laundry at once without hassle, Samsung Electronics launched the 24 kg ‘Grande Washer AI,’ then the largest capacity in Korea, and about two years later it has unveiled a new 25 kg model through technological innovation.

This new product achieves Korea's largest capacity by newly designing the drum and tub, the core components of a washer. Despite the increased capacity, it earned an Energy Consumption Efficiency Grade 1 rating, the same as existing washers.

The 25 kg Bespoke Grande Washer AI enhances convenience with an upgraded ‘Auto Dispense’ feature that automatically adds detergent and fabric softener.

The capacities of the automatic detergent and fabric softener compartments have been expanded so the machine can be used longer without worrying about refilling detergent. When filled to the top with detergent and fabric softener, it automatically dispenses the right amount for about six weeks, up from the previous four weeks or so. Based on Samsung's internal testing with a 7 kg load, the Standard wash course, and standard detergent dosage and concentration settings; results may vary depending on actual usage conditions.

The advantages of the existing Bespoke Grande Washer AI have been retained. The distinctive ‘Auto Open Door’ feature is designed to automatically open the door when the wash course ends, so laundry can be managed hygienically without worrying about interior moisture. When you are away, you can also set the door-opening operation via SmartThings.

In addition, it features ‘Bubble Wash,’ which rinses out ground-in dirt and detergent; ‘Self Clean+,’ which allows easy drum maintenance without a dedicated detergent; a ‘Pet Care course,’ which effectively removes allergens, stains and odors caused by pets; and ‘Sanitize Wash,’ which leaves no worries about dust mites.

Samsung Electronics also provides a ‘Lifetime Warranty’ service on the Digital Inverter Motor, offering free repair or replacement of the part should it fail while the consumer is using the product.

For the Digital Inverter Motor only, Samsung provides free repair or free replacement with a compatible part with no time limit. This is an additional benefit not included in the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards; if the part cannot be repaired, compensation is provided according to certain criteria, and those compensation criteria differ from those for irreparable cases within the product quality warranty period under the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards. The 25 kg Bespoke Grande Washer AI is available in a total of seven models, including four classic colors—Black, Greige, Inox and White—and three satin colors—Satin Light Beige, Satin Silver and Satin Green. The factory price ranges from 1,599,000 won to 1,899,000 won depending on the specifications.
