KCC Glass has expanded its Gangmaru (engineered wood flooring) product lineup with the launch of ‘Soop Gangmaru Nature,’ which faithfully reproduces the feel of natural solid wood, and ‘Soop Gangmaru Wide,’ which features a wide-format specification.

Gangmaru is a flooring material that combines the advantages of laminate flooring and plywood flooring, offering both outstanding durability and excellent heating efficiency. In particular, KCC Glass’s Gangmaru is an SE0-grade product that minimizes formaldehyde emissions, and by applying a high-strength special HPM film to Grade 1 water-resistant plywood, it is highly scratch-resistant, shows almost no deformation from moisture, and does not discolor or rot, giving it excellent durability. In addition, contaminants can be easily removed, making cleaning and maintenance convenient, and its high thermal conductivity delivers excellent heating efficiency.

KCC Glass’s newly launched ‘Soop Gangmaru Nature’ is a premium Gangmaru product optimized for consumers who prefer the feel of solid wood while also wanting outstanding durability and high heating efficiency. By applying Real Embo, a synchronized embossing technique, it precisely matches the wood pattern with the surface embossing, faithfully bringing out the touch and texture of natural wood grain. In particular, it earned five clovers—the highest HB certification grade awarded to building materials that minimize the emission of organic compounds—demonstrating its eco-friendliness and safety.

KCC Glass’s ‘Soop Gangmaru Nature’ offers a choice of pattern designs in a total of eight colors, including ▲Clean White in a white tone, ▲Mellow Oak in a warm gray tone, and ▲Black Ash, a modern black color.

KCC Glass’s ‘Soop Gangmaru Wide’ features a wide-format specification with a generous 125 mm width and 1,210 mm length compared to existing Gangmaru products. It creates the effect of making a space look larger and more spacious, making it a good option for consumers who want an open, distinctive spatial look. ‘Soop Gangmaru Wide’ comes in a total of four highly versatile colors and pattern designs, including ▲Fresh White in a white tone, ▲Rich Oak in a brown tone, and ▲Tender Brown, a rich solid-wood color.

The detailed colors and designs of each product can be viewed at a glance through the sample book, which gathers together the flooring specimens. The sample book can be easily viewed by visiting a nearby KCC Glass flooring dealer or online through the official KCC Glass flooring blog (blog.naver.com/kccflooring).

A KCC Glass official said, “As people spend more time at home due to COVID-19, consumer interest in interior design has been growing recently,” adding, “This new product line, developed by closely analyzing the latest interior trends and customer preferences, will be a flooring product that meets the diverse needs of consumers.”

Meanwhile, KCC Glass’s flooring brand ‘KCC Glass Soop’ was named the best flooring brand recognized by consumers, winning first place in the residential flooring category for the fifth consecutive year at the ‘2020 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI),’ hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) last year. 02-2015-8500
