Enhanced durability through high-strength UV coating and anti-crack paint

HOMECC Interior, the interior design specialty brand of KCC Glass (Chairman Chung Mong-ik), has launched 'Soop Wood Flooring Cheong,' a hardwood flooring product, strengthening its premium flooring lineup.

The newly launched 'Soop Wood Flooring Cheong' is a premium flooring product that uses natural hardwood as its surface material, allowing you to experience the refined grain patterns unique to hardwood just as they are. In particular, a total of seven applications of high-strength UV coating along with anti-crack paint protect the flooring surface and enhance its durability, while its safety has also been proven by earning the highest grade of the Korea Air Cleaning Association's eco-friendly building material (HB Mark) certification. In addition, 'Soop Wood Flooring Cheong' features wide and long specifications, including wide-plank (150 mm wide, 1,200 mm long) and medium-plank (125 mm wide, 900 mm long) sizes, bringing out the natural grain patterns of the wood more organically and making spaces appear more spacious. HOMECC Interior's new 'Soop Wood Flooring Cheong' offers a total of 10 diverse design patterns—from the bright and vivid 'Rochester White' pattern to the dark-toned 'Forte Oak' pattern with its modern yet dignified appeal—allowing consumers to create spaces with a variety of moods to suit their tastes.

A KCC Glass official emphasized, "As demand for high-end products rises in the construction market, demand for premium flooring is steadily increasing," adding, "The new Soop Wood Flooring Cheong maintains the refined natural hardwood grain patterns that are the strength of hardwood flooring while enhancing durability to reduce concerns about damage during use. It will therefore be a great choice for customers who want an elegant interior atmosphere without worrying about maintenance."

Meanwhile, 'Soop,' the residential flooring brand of KCC Glass's HOMECC Interior, was recognized by consumers as the best flooring brand this year, winning first place in the residential flooring category for the seventh consecutive year at the '2022 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)' hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). 02-2015-8500
