KCC has unveiled 'KCC Soop Green Hinoki,' a residential PVC flooring product featuring marble patterns not seen in conventional wood patterns, and it is drawing a positive response from consumers.

'KCC Soop Green Hinoki,' the first product in Korea to contain phytoncide-rich hinoki cypress oil, is a 1.8mm-thick residential flooring product. It comprises a total lineup of 13 designs with further enhanced designs—including marble patterns and color variations—based on data from the KCC Color Design Center's analysis of consumer preferences and the latest trends.

Its most notable feature is the newly added 'marble patterns,' which closely resemble real marble, alongside the wood-type patterns that had previously been mainstream. There are two 'marble patterns': a 'Bianco Carrara'-style marble pattern that combines white and black for a clean, refined look, and a 'Travertine Herringbone'-style pattern that pairs a herringbone layout with a marble pattern evoking the natural striped appearance of the natural stone travertine. In addition, competitive colors—not only white but also gray and dark brown tones—have been reinforced, and a newly developed surface reduces the gloss and adds a firmer feel.

Beyond this, the product has been upgraded by narrowing the width of the wood pattern and realistically rendering solid wood flooring, so that interiors can appear more spacious even in smaller units. A special non-slip coating has also been applied to strengthen slip resistance.

To help consumers easily understand the various technical details of the product, KCC has produced videos that consumers can view directly via QR codes in the catalog and sample book. The sample book is cut in an index style so consumers can identify the available colors at a glance, and it uses a three-panel cover to provide detailed product features and information.

A KCC representative said, "These days, consumers carefully consider factors such as their living environment, the eco-friendliness and safety of building materials, and interior design when choosing flooring." The representative added, "KCC will continue to update and reorganize its diverse flooring lineup to consistently introduce flooring products that can satisfy the varied needs of our customers." 02-3480-5000
