KCC has launched renewed versions of its residential flooring 'KCC Soop Sorisoon/Sorihue,' enhanced with new design patterns, while also releasing a sample book that lets customers view the products' various designs at a glance—stepping up its product marketing efforts.
KCC Soop ranked first for three consecutive years in the residential flooring category of the '2018 Brand Power of Korean Industry' and first for eight consecutive years in the Korean Standards Association's Korean Quality Satisfaction Index.
In particular, unlike before, Sorihue now shares colors with the Sorisoon line, improving the efficiency of product management. The new patterns strengthen the Natural Wood Collection that consumers consistently seek by adding competitive styles such as white wood, herringbone, tile, and dark wood, forming a solid color collection. Notably, to convey the realistic feel of materials such as wood and concrete, KCC enhanced clarity and expanded the use of synchronized embossing, aiming to differentiate its premium products.
Thanks to their thick cushioning, Sorisoon/Sorihue boast excellent sound insulation that reduces inter-floor noise. In addition, compared with hardwood flooring, foreign matter in gaps is easier to remove, preventing everyday soiling, and an anti-slip function adds a layer of safety. With anti-slip performance that is even better than existing products in both dry and wet conditions, the flooring is safe not only for children and the elderly but also for pets as they walk. KCC has produced videos to help consumers easily understand the technical details, making them conveniently viewable on mobile phones via QR codes in the catalog.
KCC also released the '2019-2020 NEW COLLECTION Sorisoon/Sorihue Sample Book,' which allows customers to view the products' various colors and designs at a glance. The sample book is produced in two versions—one for distribution and one for special sales—so that the distribution version can serve dealers and consumers while the special-sales version can serve construction companies. A total of 10 colors are offered, and KCC developed colors and patterns that match the latest trends in consideration of diverse consumer demands.
The sample book can also be viewed online through KCC's official flooring blog. Designed so that general consumers can easily look up KCC flooring products, the site covers information on all KCC flooring products, not just the newly renewed Sorisoon/Sorihue. In addition to product catalogs, various technical video materials—such as inter-floor noise comparison videos and fire-safety comparison test videos for each product—are also available.
A KCC official said, "As the first in the industry to obtain eco-friendly certification and the atopy safety mark for all of its residential flooring products, KCC is committed to producing eco-friendly building materials, and we plan to strengthen our sales capabilities and marketing activities through the reorganization of our flooring product lineup and the creation of the new sample book." 02-3480-5000
