LG Electronics has unveiled its new space interior appliance brand, the ‘LG Objet Collection.’
The ‘LG Objet Collection’ is a space interior appliance brand that evolves the existing premium private appliance line, ‘LG Objet.’ In 2018, LG Electronics launched ‘LG Objet,’ a new concept of convergence appliance that combined home appliances with furniture, leading the space appliance trend. LG Electronics has expanded the concept of LG Objet — a space-tailored appliance for ‘me’ — into the LG Objet Collection, which completes the interior design of an entire home. Realizing the various appliances used throughout the home — in the kitchen, living room, laundry room, and more — with a harmonious and unified design, the LG Objet Collection has the effect of completing the home’s interior as each piece is added. Rather than focusing on a specific space, the LG Objet Collection allows customers to combine various materials and colors themselves so that they harmonize with the interior tone of the entire home, completing their space interior by adding products one by one. Customers can change the front material and color of every LG Objet Collection product except the water purifier, which has no door. One of 13 colors combined with various materials such as Fenix, stainless steel, glass, and metal can be applied to a refrigerator door. In the case of the top-mount refrigerator (fridge on top, freezer on bottom), applying colors to each of the three doors — excluding the Knock-on Magic Space door — yields a total of 145 combinations.
To select the colors of the LG Objet Collection, LG Electronics collaborated over a long period with the Pantone Color Institute in the United States, a world-renowned color research institute, and chose various materials such as Fenix — a material mainly used in premium furniture — so they can be selected to match the interior.
Eleven new LG Objet Collection products were introduced, including a top-mount refrigerator, built-in type refrigerator, Kimchi refrigerator, one-door refrigerator/freezer/Kimchi convertible refrigerator, dishwasher, ‘Gwangpa’ (light-wave) oven, water purifier, WashTower, and Styler. The product lineup is set to expand further in the future.
