LG Hausys is enhancing the insulation performance of its ‘EuroSystem 9 Aluminum System Window’ through its own technology and moving to expand the high-performance premium system window market.
Drawing together its technological capabilities, LG Hausys has developed a ‘composite insulation core’ high-performance window insulation material, which it produces domestically in-house. By adding a composite material to ‘Polyamid,’ the conventional window insulation material, the product improves insulation performance by 30–40% over existing products.
The ‘EuroSystem 9 Aluminum 80 Series’ applies LG Hausys' composite insulation core to deliver outstanding insulation performance. In addition, it incorporates a ‘special pressure-equalization profile’ designed for use in high-wind-pressure environments such as coastal areas and high-rise buildings, providing excellent airtightness and watertightness across a variety of environments, while its slim frame design allows for an open, comfortable view.
Beyond this, LG Hausys offers ultra-high-insulation system window products that apply an insulation core developed through a technology partnership with a German insulation block manufacturer. Through these products, it has obtained Germany's ‘Passive House Institute (PHI) certification,’ which is granted only to buildings and building materials that minimize energy waste.
An LG Hausys official said, “The EuroSystem 9 Aluminum System Window offers a diverse range of package solutions that, through modular design, can be applied to meet the varied requirements of a building,” adding, “Going forward, we will strengthen not only insulation performance but also various window elements such as design and customer convenience to target the premium market.” 080-005-4000
