LG Hausys has launched 'Zea Maru Natural Wood,' a premium eco-friendly flooring that delivers high durability along with the natural patterns and colors of real wood.
'Zea Maru Natural Wood' applies LG Hausys' proprietary high-strength special surface layer, giving it high surface durability on par with laminate-reinforced flooring (gangmaru) even though it is engineered plywood flooring. It meets the KS standard for the surface durability of reinforced flooring (KS F 3126 Decorative Wooden Flooring Boards) and boasts superior durability against scratches, impact, moisture and more compared to ordinary plywood flooring.
In addition, LG Hausys' 'Zea Maru Natural Wood' applies a decorative wood veneer that reproduces the natural, delicate patterns of genuine materials, and its harmonious color tones eliminate the sense of incongruity that can arise from color differences between products during installation. It comes in a 'Natural' concept that reproduces the inherent color of wood and a 'Modern' concept composed of medium- and low-saturation colors, and its finely subdivided color lineup broadens consumers' design choices.
Furthermore, Zea Maru Natural Wood applies a plant-based resin derived from corn to the surface layer that comes into contact with skin, and with a formaldehyde emission level of 0.3 mg/L or less it meets the highest 'SE0' grade. On top of that, it uses premium European cherry plywood certified under the forest protection certification 'FSC' and is installed with eco-friendly ocher paste, further enhancing its environmental friendliness.
In addition, LG Hausys' 'Zea Maru Natural Wood' adopts the wide dimensions (125×1,200 mm) used for solid wood flooring, enabling richer and more upscale spatial styling.
